Christie Creates

This is always a difficult time for me, even if I do live in Florida and the "end of summer" is a relative term. Summer has always been my favorite season...long beach days, lovely balmy nights, cookouts, and swimming daily in a pool or in the healing waters of the Gulf.

It is important to look to the incoming "fall" season as a vibrant, rejuvenating time. A positive time that requires us all to support one another through warmth and acceptance. Do what we can to help our friends by providing emotional support and to build great "inter-connecting" networks within our community. If we are to bring love and light into this world again, it must start with us. 

I'm in the throes of updating my favorite films and I have now grouped most of the movies based on their director.

I'm also updating my Christie Creates page to reflect some of my more recent projects and community support efforts.

Three months later? Boy, this can be like keeping a diary...wait a minute (forget that). Anyway, I've added a press release example on my Portfolio page and I've stated a Film Fan page.

I just toured the unique and impressive Ringling College of Art and Design here in Sarasota, FL. What an amazing facility, and my creative juices have been stoked...

My Portfolio page has just been completed. Various projects could not be included on this page due to intellectual property disclosure agreements with clients/employers. I'll be adding links to some very useful web sites soon, which will concentrate around information technology, writing, and graphics.

In order to answer the call of the creative gene, I'll be introducing some creative writing samples and favorite links regarding film, other arts, and eastern philosophy soon.
